New Delhi: Bangladesh has announced the 15-members squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup and it did not include major names that has sparked controversy. The team is trying to form a team that can help them win the world cup as they were kicked out of Asia Cup 2022 at early stage.

Major Bangladesh players missing from World Cup squad

The 15-members squad did not include Parvez Hossain Emon, Anamul Haque, Mahedi Hasan, Mohammad Naim and Mahmudullah. These were all part of the Asia Cup 2022 team and now, they will not be travelling to Australia.

Many players called back

To prepare for the World Cup, Bangladesh have recalled many of their players who were dropped in the Asia Cup 2022. Litton Das, Yasir Ali, Nurul Hasan, Hasan Mahmud and Najmul Hossain Shanto made it to the final 15 for WC.

Shakib Al Hasan (captain), Sabbir Rahman, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Afif Hossain, Mossadek Hossain, Litton Das, Yasir Ali, Nurul Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Saifuddin, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadot Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Najmul Hossain, Nasum Ahmed.

Standby: Soumya Sarkar, Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hossain, Shak Mahedi Hasan.
