The crowd at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium witnessed something inhuman today. Today’s match between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals belongs to Ishan Kishan’s striking century. He smashed his century in 45 balls. The SRH batters completely dominated the Royals’ bowling attack. Jofra Archer created history by becoming the bowler with the most expensive spell of the IPL history. Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a massive total of 286 runs which was again the second most total in IPL history for a team. He was awarded ‘Player of the Match’ for his century in the first every outing for the new franchise. The Royals in response made 242 runs.

The Rajasthan Royals fought hard enough but could not get away with the victory over the massive total put by the Sunrisers. Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel seemed promising but were unable to take their team towards the victory. The scored 66 and 70 runs respectively. The bowling attack of the Royals was the major setback for them. Jofra Archer gave away 76 runs in his 4 over spell without taking any wicket. Travis Head also gave a good hand with the bat by smashing 67 runs. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Klaasen’s cameo payed off pretty well for the Sunrisers.

The fireworks were seen throughout the stadium with the batters lighting up the stadium be it either the Sunrisers or the Royals.
