With the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) season all done and dusted for Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians, their final home game against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium on May 17 may well be the final game for Team India Skipper Rohit Sharma in a MI shirt.

Rohit Sharma To Bid Farewell To MI?
Rohit Sharma has had a brilliant time with MI, having led the team to a joint-highest 5 titles over the years. However, reports suggest that Rohit Sharma is not that happy with the MI management recently and has decided to switch sides going into the IPL mega auction next year. After being stripped of the captaincy role before this season, things have only gone downward in terms of his relationship with new skipper Hardik Pandya or be it the MI management.
With MI playing for pride in their last few games, the final home game will be a special one for the former MI skipper who will hope to have a sweet ending to his illustrious career at Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai Indians are currently rock bottom in the league and will hope to give their fans some excitement and happiness in their final home game on Friday. It will be interesting to see whether Rohit Sharma finally decided to leave the club where he has become a household name for many years now. If the move does take place, one thing that is bound to happen is that the fans will not be happy with the MI management who will let one of the biggest names in T20 cricket go away just like that.
