Three days ahead of the IPL 2024, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Tuesday have changed their franchise name to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in a special RCB Unbox event held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Along with the name of the franchise, the new logo has also been unveiled on the official social media handle X (formerly Twitter).
The RCB star player Virat Kohli also graced the occasion and said that this is my dream to win IPL title. “I am always here for the franchise and I will always do my best as I also want to feel the win of the IPL. I am hopeful this year”, he said.

Several key announcements were made during the significant RCB Unbox event which held on March 19 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The event saw the participation of both the men’s players and the recently crowned women’s team champions of WPL to the venue.

The event featured various bands and music artists performing, drawing a large crowd of enthusiastic fans. The atmosphere was particularly captivating at night when the lights dimmed, and fans illuminated the stadium with their phone camera lights, resembling a WWE event.
Notably, the women’s team, fresh off their WPL victory, made a notable appearance at the event. Led by Smriti Mandhana, they were honored by the men’s team and paraded around the Chinnaswamy Stadium with the trophy in hand.
