The Aussie batter showcased some fine power hitting for the home side, scoring the fastest fifty by any batter in the IPL for SRH. Head’s swashbuckling fifty came in just 18 deliveries. He hit runs all over the ground with the MI bowlers including skipper Hardik Pandya unable to find another breakthrough.
Travis gave Hyderabad the perfect start and then departed with a scintillating 24-ball 62 which came at a strike rate of over 250 on the night.
Abhishek Sharma’s Blazing Innings
Mumbai had dismissed opener Mayank Agarwal at just 11 runs courtesy of captain Hardik Pandya’s delivery in the 5th over. Abhishek Sharma, came in to bat number 3 today and supported Travis Head’s knock with a blazing half-century himself.
