Star batter Virat Kohli played a pivotal role, scoring 77 runs to steer his team to victory, with Dinesh Karthik’s quick-fire unbeaten 28 off 10 balls sealing the win for the Bengaluru franchise.
Meanwhile, KKR, fresh off a narrow win in their season opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad, are looking to maintain their momentum and solidify their early position in the tournament. The explosive West Indian all-rounder Andre Russell reminded everyone of his prowess with a brilliant 64-run knock, while young Harshit Rana’s nerveless final over secured victory for his team by four runs.
