Match 11 of the Indian Premier League saw KL Rahul’s Lucknow Super Giants take on Punjab Kings. Deciding to bat first, LSG lost skipper KL Rahul cheaply at just 15 runs courtesy of an Arshdeep Singh delivery.

Following the setback of losing two wickets in rapid succession, Lucknow Super Giants are focused on stabilizing their innings by forging a partnership. Quinton de Kock and Marcus Stoinis are adopted a cautious approach against the formidable bowlers of Punjab Kings.

His opening partner Quinton de Kock scored a gritty fifty to help Lucknow put up a healthy total.
However, wickets at quick intervals saw the home side struggle at 125/4 at 13.1 overs.

Nicholas Pooran’s 21-ball 42 also helped LSG’s cause as they ended up with199/8 in their 20 overs.

Lucknow was in dire need of someone to maintain the momentum, and that role was fulfilled by Krunal Pandya, who exhibited aggressive batting right from the moment he stepped onto the field. The left-handed batsman quickly surpassed the 30-run mark, propelling Lucknow towards a potentially formidable total.

Sam Curran was the most successful bowler for Punjab Kings, claiming three wickets for 28 runs, with Arshdeep taking two wickets.
