SKY Stars For MI vs PBKS

Put to bat first, MI opener Ishan Kishan was sent back to the pavilion early on in the innings on just 8 runs courtesy of a Kagiso Rabada delivery. His opening partner Rohit Sharma stood his end and kept rotating the scoreboard with some good cricketing shots in between.

Suryakumar Yadav too looked in fine form and hit the bowlers for good shots midway through the innings. The Punjab Kings, still missed the services of their regular skipper Shikhar Dhawan as Sam Curran handled the leadership duties yet again.

Having scored a century in the previous game, Rohit Sharma failed to replicate the exploits as he was dismissed by Sam Curran at 36 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav raced to his 23rd T20 fifty on the night as he was the one who kept Mumbai ticking through the night. His 53-ball 78 was essential for Mumbai who were looking for some inspiration on the night. Harshal Patel led the PBKS bowling lineup with 3 wickets to his name.

It was Tilak Varma (34*) who took it from there and helped the visitors post a healthy 192/7 on the night, giving the MI bowlers a good amount of confidence to defend the total for the 5-time champions.
