In an encounter between the Delhi Capitals and the Lucknow Super Giants, the Delhi Capitals emerged victorious by 19 runs in the 64th match of the tournament.

Winning the toss, the Lucknow Super Giants elected to field first, allowing the Delhi Capitals to bat first. The Capitals posted a formidable total of 208/4 in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to significant contributions from their batsmen.

Opening the innings for Super Giants, Quinton de Kock set the tone for the Super Giants’ innings with a knock of 12 runs off just 8 balls. However, his dismissal by Ishant Sharma after a promising start marked a crucial breakthrough for the Delhi Capitals.

Chasing a target of 209 runs, the Lucknow Super Giants started their innings aggressively but faltered under pressure against the disciplined bowling attack of the Delhi Capitals.

Ishant Sharma was the pick of the bowlers for the Capitals, claiming crucial wickets of de Kock, Rahul, and Hooda, and finishing with figures of 3/28 in his 4 overs.

Axar Patel and Mukesh Kumar also contributed with the ball, picking up important wickets to dent the Super Giants’ chase.
