New Delhi: Sai Sudharsan played pivotal role in Gujarat Titans (GT) victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi as defending champions beat the host by 6 wickets on Tuesday, April 4.

David Miller nudged the ball on the leg side and took two as GT win the game by 6 wickets. They reached home with 11 balls to spare.

Sudharsan’s half-century
Sudharsan scored a brilliant half-century. This had been high-class batting from the left-hander. He anchored the innings when needed and upped the ante when required. GT, now won two consecutive matches. What start for the defending champions in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Nortje scalps two
Anrich Nortje picked up two wickets for Delhi Capitals after Gujarat got fine start by Saha and Shubman Gill. Nortje first send back Saha and after that he removed in-form batter Gill.
Anrich Nortje is now introduced in the attack and he struk straightaway! The fiery quick lighted up the Delhi Capitals crowd as Saha missed the ball and his stumps was rattled.
Anrich Nortje struk agains as this time he removed Shubman Gill with 149 KPH delivery. The South African seamer bowls another Jaffer. The ball kept a touch low and the pace of Nortje did the rest. Gill was cramped for the room and did not have enough time to adjust. This is a massive wicket for the Capitals and they are right back in the game.
Khaleek, Marsh take one apiece
Khaleel Ahmed got better of Hardik Pandya, and Mitchell Marsh removed Vijay Shankar. Much needed breakthrough for the Delhi Capitals. Shankar tried to play the ball in the fine-leg region missed the cutter from Marsh and is trapped in front of the stumps. He was not declared out initially on field however Warner decided to send the decision upstairs which bore fruits for the Capitals.
Earlier, Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami took three wickets apiece while Alzarri Joseph scalped one as DC posted 162 for 8 against GT. David Warner (37 runs) and Axar Patel (36 off 22 balls) made handy contributions for DC.
