New Delhi: Ruturaj Gaikwad brought up his first fifty of the season off 23 deliveries. He reached his fifty after he smacked a shot to deep mid wicket for a six. It was massive over for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) after they lost early 3-wickts.
Alzarri Joseph holds the best bowling figures in the Indian Premier League (IPL), but today against the Gaikwad, he has not started off on a pleasant note in IPL 2023.

Ruturaj Giakwad’s love for yellow
Ruturaj Gaikwad’s continued his fabulous run in Ahmedabad. Last time he played in the 50 over Vijay Hazare Trophy for Maharashtra, Gaikwad had smashed three centuries. It was the yellow jersey of Maharashtra back then. Now it’s the CSK yellow in which he opened the campaign and got half-century with three boundaries and six sixes at a strike rate over 200.
First FIFTY of #TATAIPL 2023 goes to @Ruutu1331 😎
He brings his half-century with a MAXIMUM and the #CSK opener is looking in solid touch 🔥
