New Delhi: Punjab Kings (PKBS) all-rounder Raj Angad Bawa has been ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 due to shoulder injury. PBKS on Wednesday, April 5 announced Gurnoor Singh Brar as a replacement of the injured all-rounder.
Gurnoor replaces Bawa
The 20-year-old Bawa was the member of U-19 World Cup winning squad, he has played 2 matches for Punjab franchise. He will miss entire IPL, in his absence the franchise roped promising all-rounder Gurnoor Singh Brar.
Gurnoor’s career stats
In December 2022, Gurnoor made his first-class debut for Punjab. A left-handed batting all-rounder has played in 5 first class matches and scored 107 runs at a strike rate of 120.22 and picked up 7 wickets at an economy of 3.80.

PBKS to face RR
Punjab Kings will face Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming match of Indian Premier League at the Barsapara Stadium in Assam. Punjab defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the opening match of their tournament.
