New Delhi: After winning the toss Delhi Capitals’ (DC) captain David Warner invited Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to bat first at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, April 15. Batting first RCB posted the 174/6 in 20 overs.
Is this a competitive total on this wicket? Only time will tell. But, the way the Delhi Capitals spinners bowled is encouraging, and we’re rooting for Wani and Co. to take us home!#PlayBold #ನಮ್ಮRCB #IPL2023 #RCBvDC pic.twitter.com/sPFnUgJBia

DC’s performance
DC’s spinners outperformed the RCB’s batter Kuldeep took two and bowled at an economy of less than six runs an over. In fact, he triggered RCB’s middle-order collapse by removing Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik in consecutive balls. Axar Patel also picked one wicket but was the most expensive among the three spinners deployed by Delhi. Lalit Yadav too bagged a wicket and conceded 29 runs in his four overs.
Virat Kohli’s fifty
For RCB, Virat Kohli continued to perform as he smacked back-to-back fifties. He scored 50 runs off 32 balls. Kohli was dismissed by Lalit Yadav as Yash Dhull completed the catch. Apart from Kohli, Shahbaz Ahmed (20) and Anju Rawat (15) guided RCB to a respectable target.
