New Delhi: With less than a week to go for the Asia Cup, India coach Rahul Dravid has tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday. Dravid is now unlikely to travel with the Indian cricket team for the Asia Cup 2022 which begins with India’s clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday (August 28).

The former Indian skipper was given time away from the action ahead of Asia Cup, as VVS Laxman replaced him as India’s coach for the tour of Zimbabwe.
Dravid, along with batting coach Vikram Rathour and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, had been given rest and all three were supposed to link up with India’s Asia Cup squad in Dubai.
