IND vs AUS 1st ODI: The first match of India and Australia’s three-match Test series will be played today. This match will take place in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Rahul Dravid hits uppercut, Gill catches ball

The Indian squad must catch every catch in the one-day international match against Australia. As a result, the squad is making particular preparations for catching. Coach Rahul Dravid picked up the bat at the Wankhede ground to practise for the backwards catch in this episode. During a practice session, he threw the ball into the air and executed a spectacular uppercut, which everyone witnessed.

The ball went directly into the hands of Shubman Gill, the young player on the squad standing at the boundary, as soon as Rahul Dravid hit the bat, and he effortlessly collected it. The BCCI uploaded the footage, which has since gone viral. Supporters are ecstatic to see Dravid bat for the first time in a long time.

Hardik Pandya to captain team India

The Indian team’s permanent captain Rohit Sharma will be unavailable for the first match owing to family obligations. In such a case, Hardik Pandya will assume leadership of the team in Wankhede. On the other side, Australia’s normal captain, Pat Cummins, is out of the series and will be replaced by Steve Smith.
