New Delhi: Ahead of the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy, that is scheduled to be played from February 9 in Nagpur. India will step in the ground without wicketkeeper and batter Rishabh Pant. Captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid will now have two options to choose, Ishan Kishan or KS Bharat.
Both the batter are yet to make their Test debut for India, KS Bharat is being seen as a backup plan for Rishabh Pant and Ishan Kishan got his maiden call for the longest format of the game.

Ishan vs Bharat Domestic record
Ishan Kishan has played matches in the first class career. Ishaan has 2,985 runs with 6 centuries. Whereas Bharat has played 86 matches, and has scored 4,707 runs with 9 hundreds. Kishan averages 38.76 and Bharat averages 37.95. KS Bharat has played more game then Kishan and had performed consistently well.
KL Rahul will not keep wicket
As per media reports, KL has had number of injuries in the last one year or so. It is not ideal for him to keep wickets in Tests. Test requires specialist keepers. There are two in the team in Bharat and Ishan.
