New Delhi: Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr has unveiled their new signing of Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday. The former Manchester United forward signed the two and half year deal with the new club.

The Middle-East club posted a series of picture on their Twitter account which read, “Start of an era,” the club tweeted. Cristiano Ronaldo described himself as a unique player and insisted that his career is not over.

”It’s not the end of my career to come to Saudi Arabia. This is why I change and, to be honest, I’m really not worried about what people say,” Ronaldo said.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner said, his work in Europe is done and he has achieved everything in his career and received many offers from other clubs as well.

”In Europe my work is done… I had many offers in Europe, many in Brazil, Australia, the US, even in Portugal,” he added. “Many clubs tried to sign me but I gave my word to this club.”

Al Nassr coach Rudi Garcia was seen in all praised for his new member, he said signing Cristiano Ronaldo will help Saudi Arabian club to reach new height. Garcia further said, they are here to win.

”In my life, I’ve seen that great players like Cristiano are the simplest to manage, because there’s nothing I can teach him,” Garcia told reporters.”Like he said, we are here to win, nothing else. I want him to enjoy playing with Al Nassr and winning with Al Nassr, just that.”

Riyadh unveiled Ronaldo in a great way, the 25,000-packed arena erupted in joy after Ronaldo arrival in Al Nassr yellow and blue jersey with his signature number 10 on his back.

Ronaldo’s girlfriend seen in abaya

Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez was seen wearing a black abaya. It is a traditional all-body covering robe that is worn by all Saudi women. She accompanied Ronaldo with their children.

Ronaldo during the press conference said, “I’m coming here to win, to play, to enjoy, to be part of the success of the country and culture of the country.”
