New Delhi: Team India will be facing a huge blow as a new report suggests that Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the upcoming T20 World Cup.
In the recent post from BCCI, it was announced that Jasprit Bumrah will not play 1st T20I against South Africa due to stress fracture. However, there was no confirmation about the further conditions.
“Jasprit Bumrah complained of back pain in during India’s practice session on Tuesday. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him. He is ruled out of the first T20I,” BCCI had tweeted.

A BCCI official, on conditions of anonymity, has said, “Bumrah is not going to play the World T20 for sure. He has a serious back condition. It’s a stress fracture and he could be out for a period of six months.”

Jasprit Bumrah had earlier missed Asia Cup 2022 and the team had to face the burnt of it.
Bumrah had returned to the field after recovering from an injury and played some games against Australia. He had complained of back pain during the practice session. After which he was dropped from the first T20 match at the behest of the medical team.
