During their last home game against KKR on May 13, 2024, the Gujarat players will demonstrate their dedication to the fight against cancer. This symbolic gesture aims to highlight the significance of early detection and the availability of high-quality care in enhancing outcomes for individuals battling cancer.

This endeavor is part of a broader campaign to address the disease, which ranks as the second leading cause of death globally, resulting in approximately 9.9 million deaths in 2020 alone. In India, there has been a notable 26% increase in cancer incidence over the past decade, with a projected 12.8% rise expected by 2025 compared to 2020.
