Former Sri Lankan captain Lahiru Thirimanne was hospitalized following a severe car accident in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, on Thursday. The collision involved his car in a head-on collision, resulting in him being transported to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital. While the exact extent of his injuries remains undisclosed, he is reported to be in stable condition. It was reported that Thirimanne had at least one other passenger in the car, who is also undergoing treatment at the hospital.
