New Delhi: Team India for T20 World Cup has been announced and wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik is a part of it. This is after a long time that Karthik has got a big break-through and he can’t keep can’t calm about it.
The Rohit Sharma-led side picked two wicket-keepers – Rishabh Pant, who gives India the option of playing a free-moving left-handed batter, while Karthik who plays a vital role of a finisher. At the age of 37, Karthik plays the role of a finisher in Indian.

On being selected in the T20 World Cup squad, Karthik shared a tweet, which accurately reflects his journey over the past few months. Dinesh Karthik wrote on Twitter, ‘Dreams do come true.’ With this he has also made a blue heart. Commenting on his post, Pandya wrote “Champion”.

Dinesh Karthik’s journey from IPL 2022 till now has been very special. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bought DK and this player performed brilliantly in the role of finisher, after which he has also been included in the role of Team India. Dinesh Karthik started his career in 2004. After the 2007 T20 World Cup, he has not got a chance to play any T20 World Cup.
