New Delhi: Issy Wong have done it again this time in the final against the Delhi Capitals. After bagging first-ever hat-trick in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), she send back Capitals’ three batters to wrestle early control over Delhi.

Issy Wong’s strikes against DC

She first removed hard hitter Shafali Verma for 11 runs, After getting smashed for a six and a four, Wong redeemed herself and removed Shafali Verma. Verma tried to go for a big hit but Amelia Kerr took a brilliant catch. Verma opted for a review for the no-ball but the decision remained out.

Issy Wong striked again in the same over and removed Alice Capsey for duck. Wong once again bowled a full toss as Capsey gone for a big hit but Amanjot Kaur smartly judged the ball and took a brilliant catch.

Once again, she bowled a full toss as Rodrigues gone for a big hit. Hayley Matthews got an easy catch as DC lost their third wicket.
