“Just because some matches went bad, does not mean the player is out-of-touch. When you look at his previous records, you will see what he did for the country. I believe that he will be performing like the champion player he always has been,” Rajkumar said to ANI

Kohli’s strong record in the Champions Trophy is the next source of hope. In merely 13 games, he has scored 529 runs at a staggering average of 88.16, with a strike rate of 92.32. His consistency is witnessed in his five half-centuries during the tournament, with his highest score being 96* in the semi-final against Bangladesh in the 2017 edition. Kohli also produced match-winning knock of 81* and 76* against Pakistan and South Africa, respectively, proving himself as a consistent player in high-stakes situations.
