IND vs PAK

New Delhi: India played a thrilling game against Pakistan on last sunday. It most definitely sent chills in the spine of the spectators when Virat Kohli beautifully turned the tables around in Melbourne Cricket Stadium.

Put to bat first, Pakistan could only make 159 runs against India after losing top order cheaply. When India came to bat, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf shook the base of Men in Blue. KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav were dismissed cheaply and whole responsibilities were on Virat Kohli.

He took the onus graciously and garnered much-needed 82 runs at crucial time. It helped India won the game.

“if it gets any better than that…stop world cup” Mitchell Marsh

Commenting on the thrill of game between India and Pakistan, Australia cricketer Mitchell Marsh said that nothing can be more interesting than this game.

“I actually think we should just stop the World Cup there. Um, if it gets any better than that, we’re in for an amazing three weeks. India v Pakistan is always an incredible game to watch. I can’t imagine what it would be like to have been in that crowd and to be a part of it,” he said.

“But yeah. Amazing. Virat Kohli has been through an indifferent 12 months when you think about his career. And for him to do that, um, you know, put his mark on the World Cup and it was an incredible innings to watch, an incredible game. So hopefully there’s a few more of those,” he said.

India is currently topping the table of Group 2 with 4 points while Australia has 3 points.
