New Delhi: When Pakistan was fighting against Zimbabwe in their second fixture of the T20 World Cup, things turned worse for Babar Azam.

Pakistan was favorite to win against Zimbabwe but in a sudden change of course in the Australia, Men in Green lost by 1 run.

Ever since, Pakistan team has been facing huge criticism from everyone around the world. When many lashed out on the entire team, there are people who are targeting captain Babar Azam.

Former Pakistan great Shoaib Akhtar has also shared his comment on the matter and called Azam a bad captain.

While talking on his youtube channel, Akhtar said, “I don’t know why is it so hard for you guys to understand. I have said this before, and I am saying it again that with our top and middle-order, we can achieve big success. We can’t win consistently. Pakistan have a bad captain. Pakistan are out of the World Cup. Nawaz has bowled the last over in the three games we have lost.”

Babar Azam should bat one down –  Shoaib Akhtar

“Babar should bat one down. Major flaw in Shaheen Shah Afridi’s fitness. Major flaw in the captaincy, and major flaws in the management. We will back you but what brand of cricket are you playing? You can’t just walk into a tournament and expect that the opposition will let you win,” he added.

In their next fixture Pakistan is set to take on Netherlands on Sunday and this will be a deciding factor for the team ‌in the tournament.
