New Delhi: Mohammed Siraj scalped four-wicket haul as Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 24 runs in an IPL 2023 match at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali on Thursday, April 20.

The right arm-fast pacer Siraj bagged four wickets and RCB’s openers Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis scored blistering half-century as RCB registered their third win of the league.

RCB post 174 on board
Batting first, RCB posted 174 for four, openers Kohli and Du Plessis gave their side a terrific start and together both the batters stitched a partnership of 130 runs stand for the first wicket. But as soon as Virat departed off, Harpreet Brar and Faf du Plessis were removed by Nathan Ellish, RCB saw a collapse in their batting order.

Chasing the target of 174, PBKS were bowled out for just 150 runs. For Punjab’s Prabhsimran Singh, who top the impact player top score for the side (46). Apart from this, Jitesh Sharma took the responsibility but he was caught by Shahbaz Ahmed off Harshal Patel for 41 runs
