After 64 matches, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis is on top in the race for Orange Cap with 631 runs in 12 matches, while Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill is at number two with 571 runs from 13 matches.

What is Orange Cap and to whom it is given?

Orange Cap is an award given to the most run scorer in an entire season in IPL. The award was first won by Shaun Marsh, who played for Kings XI Punjab in the year 2008. Last season Jos Buttler won orange cap with 863 runs in 17 matches.
