IND vs ENG Live: India is playing against England in the most crucial game of T20 World Cup 2022 but men in blue haven’t been able to keep up with the pressure.

In the first 10 overs, India had garnered just 62 runs and where there was need of big score, India may fail to reach the 150-mark.

KL Rahul failed once again
India opener KL Rahul failed to impress as he went back for just 5 runs in the second over. India captain Rohit Sharma stayed on the pitch for a longer period but couldn’t do much in 28 balls. Sharma made 27 runs and then made way for star batter Suryakumar Yadav.

When fans put their hopes on the stalwart but he also failed to get past Salt who caught his ball near the boundary. Yadav departed for 14 runs.

Former India captain Virat Kohli has however, managed to face the English bowlers for a long time and nearing his half-century but the over all performance of the team hasn’t taken them very far. Rishabh Pant is yet to come on the field but Team India is running out of overs.

“We would have batted first anyway. We’ve played some good cricket, another opportunity for us to play the same way we have all tournament. Important to hold the nerve and take the game will the end. We’ve played these guys a fair bit in recent years and know what strengths-weaknesses they have. Important to exploit that. Important to stay calm and do what we want to do. It (injury) was a scare but I’m fine now. The kind of talent we have, it was a tough one (to pick the XI). Same team for us,” said Rohit Sharma after winning the toss.
