Melbourne: England is locking horns with Pakistan in T20 World Cup final but when they walked on Melbourne Cricket Ground, there was something strange that you must have noticed.
English players are wearing the black armbands when they are fighting for the trophy to T20 World Cup. Many fans are confusing it can thinking it is for good luck to win against Pakistan but that’s not the reason.

England cricket team offers condolences to David English
On the eve of T20 World Cup final, David English passed away and the team is paying respect by wearing armbands.
English captain Jos Buttler had written a tweet on his demise and said, “So sad to hear the news of David English passing away. One of life’s great characters, so fun to spend time with and producer of some of the best English cricketers through his wonderful Bunbury Festivals. England all-rounder Chris Woakes also write in his respect. He said, “Such sad news to hear the passing of David English. An Incredible man who did amazing things for our great game and was always amazing company, never a dull moment. RIP Dave.”

Who is David England?
David English is considered the godfather of English cricket and has been with the team for a longtime. His Bunbury schools festival has built the career of more than 1000 first-class cricketers in the England. He died at the age of 76 years.
