AB de Villiers Makes Special Promise
With the excitement growing, AB de Villiers, South African cricketer-turned-Rockstar and RCB icon, made a heartwarming revelation. He disclosed that he will take flight to India if RCB plays the IPL 2025 final, which is to be played on June 3.
“Mark my words, if RCB makes it to the final, I will be there at the stadium with the boys. Nothing will give me more pleasure than to lift that trophy with Virat Kohli. I’ve tried that for many many years,” said de Villiers during an Instagram Live session.

AB de Villiers played with RCB for 11 years (2011–2021) along with Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle, he shared one of the most potent batting groups in IPL history. In spite of their firepower, the team could never win the IPL title something de Villiers still wishes to be altered.

Speaking from the heart, de Villiers wished to share a title win with Kohli, his good friend and longtime colleague. He stated that should RCB reach the final this season, he’ll be there to witness it in person and join in the celebrations.
