CM Bhagwant Mann handed over the appointment letter to former hockey player Paramjeet Kumar for the job as a coach in the sports department. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that Paramjit Kumar had represented Punjab in many national-level competitions. 

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that Paramjit Kumar was unfortunately injured. Because of this Paramjit had to leave the field.

Due to the negligence of the previous governments, talented hockey player Paramjit Kumar had to work as a daily wage labourer in the grain market, when CM came to know about the condition of this hockey player through the media, then he called Paramjit Kumar to the government residence and offered him a government job to Paramjit Kumar.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has expressed hope that Paramjit Kumar will produce many more players with his skills, who will bring laurels to the country in national and international competitions.
