Dubai: In an oxymoronic situation, Sri Lanka, the hosts, will walk in the tournament of the Asia Cup with less experience of the ground conditions than other opponents. 

Sri Lanka is fighting against Afghanistan in the opening game of the tournament and they would definitely have the insecurity of having less playing experience on these shores than the opponent. 

Afghanistan has played 25 more games than Sri Lanka on these venues and would have an upper hand for tonight’s game. However, both the teams have recently lost their bilateral series, Afghanistan to Ireland, and Sri Lanka to Australia.
