Tandoori Dhokla Recipe: Add something healthy dish in your weekend days also. How about Gujarati food? Most of the dishes from Gujarat are healthy and tasty. You can prepare them during breakfast or evening tea time. One of these is Dhokla which is tasty as well as healthy.

If you also like dhokla, then you can try its tandoori recipe. Here is an easy recipe for Tandoori Dhokla.

Tandoori Dhokla Recipe: Ingredients

  • 2 cups gram flour
  • 2 cups curd
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Oil (as needed)

Tandoori Dhokla Recipe

  • First of all, take a big bowl and put curd and gram flour in it.
  • After this, add lemon juice, sugar and salt as per taste.
  • Whisk all these while mixing them well.
  • After beating well, add baking soda to it.
  • Now put the mixture in a utensil and cook it on low flame.
  • If you want, you can also cook it in a Dhokla maker.
  • Dhokla will be ready in about 30 minutes.
  • After cooking on low flame, turn off the gas and take it out in a vessel.
  • Now cut it into big pieces with the help of a knife.
  • Now prepare the marinade to make Tanoodri Dhokla. For this, put 1 cup of yoghurt in a bowl and mix it by adding chaat masala, Kashmiri red chilli and salt as per taste. After this, dip the chopped Tokla in it. 
  • After 5 minutes, keep a nonstick pan on the gas and heat it on medium flame. Now add little oil and fry the marinated Dhokla. 
  • After frying in golden colour, Tandoori Dhokla will be ready and you can serve it.
