For instance, eating foods with a high glycemic index might result in a rise in insulin levels, which can trigger acne outbreaks and increased sebum production. Additionally connected to a higher incidence of acne is the consumption of dairy products.

It’s crucial to keep in mind, though, that not all skin issues can be attributed to diet, and the connection between food and skin is complicated. However, we can always talk about foods that can cause skin disorders in the interim.

Caffeine is generally harmless in moderation, but too much can dry out the skin and aggravate pre-existing skin issues.
