Disha Vadgama, a Gujarat-based entrepreneur and fashion designer has made a big name for herself in the industry. The founder of DV fashion studio is one of the most respectable names in the fashion industry thanks to her art and modern approach.

After making a strong impression in the market, Disha Vadgama is now trying to make a mark in Bollywood and she is already getting several opportunities on her plate. Disha says that a major part of her job is exploring and making contacts for expansion and that’s something she really enjoys.

Disha Vadgama talks about her approach towards fashion and says that for her it means “be the actual you.“ She adds, “To have the confidence in you, whatever you wear or carry but to be the real you is the most important and attractive thing. We are different people with different stories and perspectives on life, well it same goes with Fashion.”

Disha has her own fashion studio in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It’s a 5000sq. feet place, under the Brand name “DV Fashion Studio“ by Disha Vadgama. It has a mixture of traditional Indian designs with modern ones, featuring lightweight fabrics further enhanced by quirky and vibrant prints.

Disha Vadgama shares that her biggest achievement is the trust customers have in her. “Apart from that I have done fashion shows in different cities of India and now I am stepping into a collaboration work with the Bollywood industry with celebrities for their outfits.”

Disha was passionate about fashion and clothing since her childhood and got inspiration from her mother. When she was young, she noticed her mother designing her own saree creatively. This inspired Disha and when her mother noticed her inclination towards art and creativity, she pushed Disha towards it.

Talking about her beginnings, Disha says that she started her label at a very early stage of her life with only one tailor and master in a small place. She learned about the taste of customers by bringing her experience to use. Disha used every feedback to make her creativity better day by day and made sure that every happiness and disappointment counts in the end.
