Oats Palak Thepla: Ingredients

Oats flour – 1 cup
Jowar flour – 1/2 cup
Curd – 2 tbsp
Spinach puree – 1/2 cup
Ginger-green chili paste – 1 tsp
Garlic – 3-4 cloves
Coriander leaves – 2 tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
oil – as needed
salt – as per taste

Method

  • To make Oats Palak Thepla, first mix oats and jowar flour in a bowl.
  • After this add curd and spinach puree and mix the flour mixture well.
  • Now add red chili powder, ginger-green chili paste, cumin, asafoetida and chopped garlic to this mixture.
  • After this, mix all the things well, so that all the things get mixed together.
  • After this knead the dough of the mixture, use water only if needed.
  • After this keep it to set for 10 minutes.
  • After some time knead the dough again and make small balls out of it.
  • Now take a ball and cut it into small pieces by rolling it, and keep them in a plate.
  • Similarly prepare Oats Palak Thepla from all the mixture.
  • Now heat a nonstick pan well.
  • When the griddle becomes hot, pour 1 teaspoon oil on top and spread it all around.
  • After this, put the prepared thepla and bake it, apply ghee to the thepla and roast it from both the sides.
  • Fry the thepla till it turns golden brown and crisp from both the sides.
  • Similarly, make all the theplas and roast them.
  • Now your Tasty Oats Palak Theplas are ready, serve them hot.
