This paratha can be made any time for breakfast, lunch or dinner. These parathas, which are prepared in minutes, are very tasty. Let us now tell you without delay what are ingredients needed to make it.
Methi Paratha Recipe: Ingredients
- Flour – 2 cups
- Fresh fenugreek – 1 cup (finely chopped)
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Curd – 2 spoons
- Ajwain – ½ tsp
- Red chilli and salt as per taste
- Green chillies, garlic, ginger 1 tsp (crushed)
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Ghee or olive oil for roasting the paratha
- Water as required
Recipe:
- Put flour in a vessel and mix turmeric, salt, red chilli, green chilli, garlic, ginger, celery, curd, oil and fenugreek well in it. Add water little by little and knead the dough. Note that we have to keep the dough soft.
- After kneading the dough, cover it and leave it for 15 minutes. Then make medium-sized balls. Roll it out on a griddle and roast it in ghee or oil. Apart from this, if you want the paratha to be softer, then after rolling the dough, spread some butter on it (everywhere).
- After this, you can give the paratha a square shape as per your choice, but keep in mind that butter has to be applied on every fold. After this put it in the pan and bake it.
