Methi Muthiya Recipe: Some people do not like to eat fenugreek at all, but if this snack made of fenugreek is eaten once, then anyone will become crazy about fenugreek.

Methi Muthia Recipe: Ingredients
Gram flour 2 cup, Water or curd 1 tsp, Baking soda 1/4 tsp, Fenugreek leaves – 2.5 cup chopped, Sugar 2 tsp (as required), Salt 1 tsp (as required), Oil 2 tsp, Semolina or wheat Sour cream 2 tbsp, White sesame seeds 2 tsp, Turmeric powder 1 tsp, Coriander powder 1 tsp, Cumin powder 1 tsp, Red chili powder ½ tsp, Lemon juice 2 tsp, Ginger-green chili paste 2 tsp Water for steaming the muthias, oil for frying
Boiled muthias
Oil 2 tbsp, white sesame seeds 1 tsp, mustard seeds 1 tsp, asafoetida 1 pinch, curry leaves sprigs 1 to 2, coriander leaves chopped and some fresh grated coconut for garnish
Make dough like this
First of all, you have to take a bowl and mix gram flour, chopped fenugreek, sugar, salt, semolina, sesame, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chili powder well. After this, add baking soda, ginger-green chili paste and lemon juice to it.
After this keep it aside for at least 15 to 20 minutes. During this time fenugreek will start releasing water, then you will know how much water to add further. After this knead the dough by adding little water or with curd.
How to make boiled fenugreek muthia
Take half the dough and give them the shape of your choice and keep them in a tray. After this, heat water in a pan and when the water becomes hot, place a tray greased with ghee over it. After this cover the muthia and steam it for 10 to 15 minutes. This is how boiled muthia is made.
Now if you want to eat fried Muthia, then for this heat oil in a pan and prepare tempering in it. For this, you can also use mustard and when it splutters, put boiled muthia in it and fry it on a low flame.
How to make fried muthia
After this, take the remaining dough and make a roll out of it. Then heat oil in a pan and lightly or deep fry the boiled muthias till they become golden brown and crisp. After this add green coriander and grated coconut to garnish it. After that serve it with chutney.
