Malai Kofta Recipe: Ingredients

Paneer – 300 grams, Potato – 4-5, Cream/Malai – 1 cup, Maida – 2-3 tbsp, Tomato – 2-3, Onion – 2, Ginger – 1 inch piece, Cashew – 1 tbsp, Raisins – 1 tbsp Cashew paste – 3 tbsp Milk – 3 tbsp Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp Kasoori methi – 1 tbsp Turmeric – 1/2 tsp Sugar – 1 tbsp Oil – as needed Salt – as per taste

Method

To make Malai Kofta, first you have to boil the potatoes. After this, keep the boiled potatoes in the fridge for 5-6 hours and let it cool down. This will make your koftas good and full of taste. After this, take off the peel of the potato and mash it well. After this, crush the paneer in it and mix it well.

After this, add flour to it, while preparing this mixture, keep in mind that it should not become too hard or soft. After this, cut dry fruits and mix them in sugar. After this, heat oil in a pan and till the oil is hot, make balls of paneer-potato mixture and keep filling dry fruits in between.

Along with this, now deep fry these balls and cook them till they turn golden brown. After this, take it out and make tomato paste. Then make a paste of onion and ginger and mix it in this paste. After this, heat oil in a pan and fry the paste. After this, add cashew paste to it and then add cashew paste and dry spices and kasoori methi to the gravy.

After this, when it is cooked well, add cream and 1 tsp sugar to it and then add fried koftas to it. After this your Malai Kofta is ready, now you can serve it to eat.
