Here let us look at the recipe of this healthy yet tasty diet.
Korean Egg Rice Recipe: Ingredients
- ½tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2large eggs
- 1teaspoon soy sauce
- 1teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1cup steamed white rice, preferably short- or medium-grain
- 1(5-gram) packet roasted, salted seaweed, such as gim (optional)
Step 1
In a little nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Cook the melted butter for 1 to 112 minutes, periodically swirling with a rubber spatula, or until the colour changes from yellow to light brown.
Step 2
Crack the eggs into the pan, then add the soy sauce and sesame oil. Cook for 2 to 212 minutes, or until the whites bubble up little around the pan’s borders and the transparent areas around the yolks begin to turn opaque. Make sure the soy sauce doesn’t burn by keeping an eye on it and turning off the heat if necessary.
Step 3
Place the fried eggs and all of the pan’s buttery soy sauce drippings on top of the rice in a medium bowl. Place a thick layer of crushed seaweed on on top of the eggs. This may seem like a lot of seaweed, but when you combine the ingredients with a spoon before eating, the seaweed will wilt and become less noticeable.
