  1. Basmati rice
  2. Dry fruits
  3. Fennel seeds
  4. Ghee
  5. Onions
  6. Pinch of saffron
  7. Cumin seeds
  8. Salt
  9. A cup of pomegranate
  10. 1 Apple
  11. Warm milk
  12. Cardamon
  13. Cloves
  14. Bay leaves

Step-By-Step Guide

  1. Soak rice for 15 mins then rinse & drain, and let rest.

2. Heat ghee in a pan along with the spices mentioned above.

3. Mix the drained rice with saffron soaked in warm milk.

4. Add water and more milk if needed, and cook covered until the rice softened.

5. Fry dry fruits and onion for garnishing.

6. Combine cooked rice with roasted spices and dry fruits along with the caramelised onions. Topping it with fresh fruits and ghee before serving.

  1. Make sure that the rice has been boiled until soft.
  2. The amount of water and milk pouring in the rice does not exceed.
  3. Do not over-fry dry fruits and onions.
