Gajar Raita Recipe: Ingredients
11/2 cup curd – whipped, 1 large carrot – grated, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder, 1 green chili – finely chopped, chaat masala as per taste, black salt as per taste
To make carrot raita, first of all you have to wash and clean the carrots properly. After this grate the carrot finely and put it in a pan and keep it for boiling. After this, when the carrots are boiled, keep it to cool down and till then beat the curd well.
Add roasted cumin, black pepper, black salt and finely chopped green chillies and mix them all. If you want, you can also add chopped coriander to it. After this, when the carrot cools down, mix it in the raita and also add chaat masala. After this you can serve it.
(While making carrot raita, keep in mind to add the raita only when the carrot is cool. Otherwise your raita may burst.)
