Dry Fruits Kheer Recipe: Ingredients
milk 2 liters
1 cup milk powder
1 cup cashews
1/2 cup almonds
1 tbsp ghee
10-12 pistachios
4-5 saffron threads
1/2 cup sugar or jaggery
1 tbsp chironji
2 tbsp raisins
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Recipe
- First of all heat a pan on the gas.
- Add 2 teaspoons cashews and 2 teaspoons almonds and roast them and take them out in a plate.
- When it cools down, grind the cashew-almonds in a mixer to make a powder.
- After this again put the pan on the gas for heating and add two spoons of ghee.
- Slow down the gas and add milk powder and 3/4 cup milk to the pan and heat it.
- While stirring on low flame, prepare the mawa of milk.
- On the other hand, heat milk and saffron threads in another pan.
- When it starts boiling, mix dry fruits powder in it.
- Cook it on low flame for about 7 to 8 minutes.
- Now add the prepared mawa to it and mix well.
- After this add sugar/jaggery and cook the milk till it thickens.
- After this, roast cashews, almonds, pistachios, dates and chironji by adding ghee to the pan.
- After this add these dry fruits to the prepared kheer and mix.
- Mix cardamom powder in it for taste.
- Cover and cook for a while and then kheer is ready in this way.
