Coconut Barfi: This time it is the festival of Holi on March 8 and preparations have started for it in homes. Different types of sweets and dishes have started being prepared. The process of making Gujiya, Kachori, Namkeen and sweets has started.

You can easily prepare Nariyal ki Barfi on the occasion of Holi. As tasty as it is in taste, it is also easy to make. Let’s know the recipe of Coconut Barfi.

Coconut Barfi: Ingredients

  • 1 cup – milk
  • 100 grams – milk powder
  • 250 grams – coconut flakes
  • 100 grams – powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp- Green cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp – chopped pistachio

Recipe

  • First of all take coconut powder and grind it in a mixie jar.
  • On the other hand, keep a pan on the gas and add milk to it.
  • Now mix powdered sugar in it and cook on medium heat till it thickens.
  • Now mix milk powder, coconut powder and cardamom powder.
  • Cook all these while stirring continuously for about 3 minutes.
  • To make barfi, spread butter paper on a plate. Put the prepared mixture in it while spreading it. Smoothen the mixture by pressing it evenly with the help of a spoon. After this add chopped pistachios and almonds and press it.
  • Keep it in the fridge to cool down and cut it into small squares with the help of a knife. In this way, delicious coconut barfi will be ready.
