To make Chai Thandai, first of all you have to take a pan. Then put hot water in it and put it on the gas. After this, either you put a tea bag in it or an open tea leaf and then heat it. After this add almonds, poppy seeds, fennel, sugar and cardamom and mix it well.
After this let it cook for a while and after that add black pepper as per your taste and mix it. After this you turn off the gas and then keep it to cool down.
After that you keep it in the fridge and let it cool down. After this you filter it and then put it in a glass tumbler. Also, if you want to drink more cold, then you can also add ice to it. After this your chai thandai is ready. Garnish it with saffron and then serve.
