1. Spelt flour

An ancient variety of wheat, milled from the fibre-rich spelt berry. Experts say whole grains are popular for baking because they are milder and lighter than other whole grains.

2. Rye flour

It is made from rye fruit, which has a similar appearance to wheat fruit and is rich in fibre and minerals such as manganese, copper and phosphorus. Studies have shown that rye is rich in phytonutrients1 that help fight disease and protect the body from age-related stress.

3. ​Ragi flour

This flour contains iron, protein, calcium, antioxidants, and fiber and is considered a healthy alternative to maida. It is also gluten-free and easily digestible, making it suitable for diabetics and those with gluten intolerance.

4. Jowar flour
