From one-pot biryani to 5-minute mac and cheese, there’s plenty to try. Bombay aloo is one such dish that signifies comfort for us (or aloo Bombay). Simply described, Bombay aloo is a spicy aloo sabzi that works well with roti and paratha, as well as dal chawal.
Bombay Aloo Recipe: Ingredients
- 7-8 Baby Potatoes
- 1/2 Chopped onion
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Red jeera powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- Salt as per taste
Method
1.Fry young potatoes in a pan to crisp them up.
2.In a pan, heat the oil and add the ginger and garlic. Slit green chilies and finely chopped onion should be added to this. Cook until the onions are tender.
3.After that, add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, jeera powder, coriander powder, and salt to taste. Allow it to cook for a while.
4.Add a splash of water and toss in the fried potatoes.
5.Mix the masalas and coat the potatoes.
6.Serve and have fun!
