Besan Pyaj Sabji Recipe: Ingredients

Onion - 4 medium size Onion - 1 finely chopped Gram flour - 1 cup Curd - 3 tbsp 2 tomato paste Green chili - 4 to 5 finely chopped Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tsp Cumin - 1 tsp Asafoetida - 2 pinches Coriander powder - 1 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1 tsp Ajwain - 1/4 tsp salt - as per taste Red chili powder - 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tsp Garam masala - 1 tsp Mustard oil - 4 tbsp Coriander leaves - finely chopped

Recipe

  • To make gram flour onion curry, first heat oil in a fry pan on medium gas.
  • When the oil is well heated, add cumin, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and onions and fry for two minutes.
  • After this, add red chili, turmeric, coriander and salt to it and mix it well.
  • Now add tomatoes to it and fry it while stirring till it becomes soft.
  • Then add a little water and cover it for two to three minutes, and now let all the spices cook well.
  • Now to make gram flour pakora, mix gram flour, onion, celery, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste in a bowl.
  • After this, mix green coriander, salt, a pinch of red chili powder and prepare a slurry.
  • Now heat the oil and prepare the pakodas. Now you are ready to make vegetable gravy.
  • After preparing the gravy, add some water to it and cook till it comes to a boil.
  • After this, put pakoras in the gravy and garnish with green coriander by adding hot spices on top.
