Besan Pyaj Sabji Recipe: Ingredients
Onion – 4 medium size
Onion – 1 finely chopped
Gram flour – 1 cup
Curd – 3 tbsp
2 tomato paste
Green chili – 4 to 5 finely chopped
Ginger and garlic paste – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 2 pinches
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Ajwain – 1/4 tsp
salt – as per taste
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Mustard oil – 4 tbsp
Coriander leaves – finely chopped
Recipe
- To make gram flour onion curry, first heat oil in a fry pan on medium gas.
- When the oil is well heated, add cumin, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and onions and fry for two minutes.
- After this, add red chili, turmeric, coriander and salt to it and mix it well.
- Now add tomatoes to it and fry it while stirring till it becomes soft.
- Then add a little water and cover it for two to three minutes, and now let all the spices cook well.
- Now to make gram flour pakora, mix gram flour, onion, celery, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste in a bowl.
- After this, mix green coriander, salt, a pinch of red chili powder and prepare a slurry.
- Now heat the oil and prepare the pakodas. Now you are ready to make vegetable gravy.
- After preparing the gravy, add some water to it and cook till it comes to a boil.
- After this, put pakoras in the gravy and garnish with green coriander by adding hot spices on top.
