Curd semolina and some vegetables are required to make appe. Although, to make appe, its maker is needed, but if you do not have it, then there is no problem, you can prepare appe without mold or maker. Let us tell you how to make appe without mould.

Appe Recipe: Ingredients

  • A cup of semolina
  • A cup of curd
  • Two green chilies
  • Half an onion
  • Halved tomatoes
  • Oil (as needed)

Method

First of all, take a big bowl and put curd along with semolina in it. Mix both well. Prepare its Thick batter and leave it covered for some time. Now mix the batter once again. Finely chop green chillies, tomatoes and onions in it. Mix them all well and leave it to set for a while. To make appe without maker, you have to take small bowls. Grease them all with oil. Now fill them with the batter with the help of a spoon. Keep in mind that you have to fill it only half way. Turn on the gas and place a large pan on it. Heat the water in it. Put a net or a plate on top. Now you have to keep battery filled bowls on these. After that cover it from above. In this way appe will be ready in about 6 to 7 minutes. You can serve appe with sambar or green chutney.
